Dec 2014 Update

Here is an update on what we have available for the Christmas-New Year Holidays.

We had a limited number of Turkeys this year that are all sold, so in 2015 we will expand that offering if you would like one custom raised let us know.

Holiday Meats:

We hung a beef 30 days in Oct/Nov to get

Also so some really nice Sirloin Tip Roasts 2 to 5 pounds @ $10/pound

Small Freezer Specials

The Pork and Cattle Market, and the demand at the stockyard continues to climb.  We are currently at all time highs in Beef and Pork pricing.  This is a combination of past couple year weather conditions, availability and market demand.  I don’t see and end to this trend for at least another three years.  If your interested in more information email me for graphs and charts.

At Walnut Hills Farm we will continue do our best to control our costs and minimize the effects of market changes to our customers.

Price Change

July 2013 – Updated some of out Ground beef Prices, there has been a price increase due to an increase on our end of processing costs.

The Bulk Freezer Beef, the first two cows were sold before they left the farm.   As of today we have One and a half (1/2) Beef hanging at the processor that is available for sale

1)  Beef CW at 550 pounds – Whole $2722.50; Half $1361.25 and a Qtr 680.63

2) Half a Beef at 558 pounds – Half $1381.05 and a Qtr 690.53

We are hauling four more moderate sized beef (around 600 CW) on April 30th.  Available for delivery in June.

Our Current pricing is $4.85 and we can deliver within in a 7 days (due to due to our planning ahead.  This is pre-cut beef to how must of our customers cut Freezer Beef and dry aged 21-23 days.
